Providing retirement living, rest home, hospital and dementia care within central Christchurch

Anglican Living runs two retirement villages with care facilities in the heart of Christchurch offering the whole range of aged care services. Bishopspark on the edge of Hagley Park in Christchurch central hosts 29 units for fully independent retirement living as well as serviced studios and rest home rooms for those who need a little more help.  At Fitzgerald, in Avonside/Linwood we have 31 independent retirement living apartments alongside our renowned rest home, dedicated dementia care unit, and 38-bed hospital with specialised nursing care.

From Christchurch central to Avonside, we value quality of life within a Christian, family atmosphere. Regardless of any, or no religious affiliation through Anglican Living Together we provide a safe, worry-free environment.

Bishopspark and Fitzgerald are accredited members of the Retirement Villages Association.

They have been audited against the RVA Code of Practice, found to have met all the guidelines and have been awarded a certificate of accreditation to that effect that can be viewed at either site.

Bishopspark Village

In central Christchurch, on the edge of North Hagley Park, Bishopspark Retirement Village offers a range of senior care options from completely independent living to fully funded Rest Home level care.
